 This columnar baroque marble fountain, shaped like a knurled shell, is the only one in town that has been in operation since 1806. Since then, it has alleviated the thirst of those who walk by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Berlin-Schöneberg steht an der Einmündung der Innsbrucker Straße in den verkehrsumtosten Innsbrucker Platz eine Kopie des Brunnens. Hierher werden sich aber keine Touristen verirren. Der Berliner Standort ist im Gegensatz zum Innsbrucker völlig unattraktiv.
In Berlin-Schöneberg there is a copy of the fountain at the confluence of Innsbrucker Straße with traffic-wasted Innsbrucker Platz. No tourists will get lost here. In contrast to Innsbruck, the Berlin location is completely unattractive.
