★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food takes a while to arrive because it's all fresh. The view over to the Zugspitze is breathtaking. And it's easily reachable by cable car, for the not-walking-inclined. From the middle station, there's a nice and easy walk (not advisable for strollers or handicapped) down into town. And you can even get a medal for solving the questions along the way. Don't let anyone tell you that's only for kids!
