★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really An Event to Experience. I want to say "Thank You" to the Citizens of Bregenz that welcome Visitors with Open Arms to their Beautiful City. Everyone from Taxi drivers Servers Hotel Staff Casino etc were absolutely Wonderful. The Opera itself is Breathtaking A MUST DO EXPERIENCE!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique setting for a unique show. Saw their performance of Carmen. Understood neither the French it was performed in, nor the German it was subtitled in but still enjoyed the amazing performances. Massive production value, with aerial performers, video projections, pyrotechnics and a moving stage all interacting with the lake around it. Will be interested to see future shows

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely venue on a stunning lake, it should be amazing to be there for the opera on the water! I played a concert in the main hall, it has a great acoustic.

The Opera in Bregenz shines with a stunning stage, mesmerising costumes, amazing singers and a truly breathtaking orchestra. It's was truly a one of a kind experience.
The only complaint I have is that seating is to cramped if you are taller than 180cm. I am over two meters talk so my knees hurt so badly that I asked to be reseated into on of the free seats with more leg room. The super nice lady who was responsible for the seating offered us two open seats in the first row of the upper balcony with dramatically increased legroom.
It was an experience we won't forget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been here for two different shows. Turandot and Carmen. The performance was outstanding from a graphic point of view. It is incredible what they can achieve, combining video , light-show, pyrotechnics and moving parts in the scenario.
The quality of the voices was not at the level of the display but was great too.
In brief, it is something to see at least once in your life!
