Nice snack bar with a friendly landlady. Sufficient selection of small dishes, super cheese dumplings and the best Kaiserschmarrn in athletics.

Die Stube ist urig und sehr gemütlich. Essen ist tolle traditionelle Hausmannskost, die in Windeseile frisch von den Inhabern zubereitet wird. Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe da und waren alle absolut begeistert. Knödel und Kaiserschmarren ein Gedicht! Schöne, dass es solche Orte gibt. Very nice hosts and extremely friendly service. The location and the view from the large terrace are definitely worth the hike. The parlor is quaint and very cozy. Essen is great traditional home cooking that is freshly prepared by the owners in no time at all. We were there with a larger group and we were all absolutely thrilled. Dumplings and Kaiserschmarren a poem! It's nice that such places exist.

Auch bei Regenwetter lohnt sich der Marsch zur Hütte. Und es wird Stimmung gemacht. Hier bin ich nicht das letzte Mal gewesen. Deliciously cozy, super delicious food, very nice landlords, Kaiserschmarrn and afterwards highly recommended the gentian. Even in rainy weather it is worthwhile to walk to the hut. And mood is created. I haven't been here the last time.

Der Aufstieg über den Naturpfad ist ein echter Geheimtipp. Man sieht wunderschöne Orchideen in den wilden Wiesen und läuft durch einen richtig abenteuerlichen Wald. Kommt man schließlich bei der Bockbachalm mit diesem atemberaubenden Ausblick an, wird man mit einem großartigen Essen belohnt. Vorallem die Hauswurst, das Sauerkraut, die Kaspressknödel und der Kaiserschmarn muss gegessen werden. Aber das i-Tüpfelchen ist einfach die nette Familie, die die Alm betreibt und den ganzen Sommer über dort bleibt. Diese Menschen haben das Herz am rechten Fleck. Toll für Kinder ist auch der kleine Spielplatz mit Rutsche, Schaukel, Trampolin und die Tiere. We have been going to the Bockbachalm for decades and visiting Melitta and her nice family. The ascent via the nature trail is a real insider tip. You can see beautiful orchids in the wild meadows and walk through a really adventurous forest. When you finally arrive at the Bockbachalm with this breathtaking view, you will be rewarded with a great meal. Especially the house sausage, the sauerkraut, the cheese dumplings and the Kaiserschmarn must be eaten. But the icing on the cake is simply the nice family who run the Alm and stay there all summer. These people have their hearts in the right place. The small playground with slide, swings, trampoline and animals is also great for children.
