Im Winter kann der Birkenhof durch die Nähe zur Skibushaltestelle aber vor allem auch durch die direkte Anbindung an die Pisten des Skigebiets Brunnalm punkten... d.h. man kann mit den Ski direkt vor die Haustüre fahren. So muss man den Besuch beim Hausherrn, Jürgen Stemberger, auf der Weißspitzhütte nicht frühzeitig abbrechen, um zum Bus zu kommen.
Im Sommer kann man am Birkenhof einfach die Seele baumeln lassen bzw. liegt er perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wander- oder Mountainbiketouren... zum Beispiel auf die Bruggeralm.
Jedenfalls wird man von der Familie Stemberger immer herzlich empfangen und am Ende des Urlaubs freut man sich bereits auf den nächsten Besuch ;)
Absolutely recommended in summer as well as in winter. In winter, the Birkenhof can score points due to its proximity to the ski bus stop but above all thanks to the direct connection to the slopes of the Brunnalm ski area ... i. You can ski right outside the front door. So you do not have to stop the visit to the host, Jürgen Stemberger, on the Weißspitzhütte early to get to the bus.
In summer you can simply relax at the Birkenhof or it is perfect as a starting point for numerous hiking or mountain biking tours ... for example on the Bruggeralm.
Anyway, you will always receive a warm welcome from the family Stemberger and at the end of the holiday you are looking forward to the next visit;)

Maybe not the most luxurious accommodation but very cozy and clean with very friendly operators!
