★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A magical place with a splendid wine! I can honestly say that my visit has been one of my most memorable moments in some time. Gorgeous 'Wintergarten' (conservatory) style dining rooms with rustic and airy feel. The burning embers and crackling logs add atmosphere and warmth. The owner visits your table and gushes about his biological product (no GM or Monsanto 'Round Up' being used on his vines). The wines have character, style and ample of taste. The food is somewhat a let down, not due to quality but for lack of choice and super tiny portions; but it really is ALL about the wine. The only big "no no" is the smoking in the kitchen, serving area for food. That is entirely unacceptable. The rest is HEAVEN!
