Die Marillen der Sorte Bergeron waren wirklich "überreif", fast alle sind schon in der Hand (!) auseinander gefallen. Man konnte sie nur noch zu Marmelade verarbeiten, und das auch nur am selben Tag. Nachdem ich mehrfach nachgefragt hatte, ob die Ernte schon begonnen hat, und immer wieder mitgeteilt bekam, dass Bergeron noch "braucht" und die Ernte heuer spät sei, bin ich ehrlich gesagt doch ein wenig irritiert. Vor allem, weil ich nur noch Marmelade daraus machen konnte... :(
Friendly company and very humane prices. What I liked less was the ripeness of the fruit. The apricots of the Bergeron variety were really "overripe", almost all of them fell apart in the hand (!). You could only process them into jam, and only on the same day. After I asked several times whether the harvest had already started and kept being told that Bergeron "still needed" and that the harvest was late this year, I am, to be honest, a little confused. Mainly because I could only make jam out of it ... :(
