Tourist cohorts exchange on weekends, when you arrive to your apartment on Saturday evening, the store is already closed and won't open until Monday morning. Good luck with your Sunday breakfast. This kind of Austrian hospitality is not atypical, but there are towns where the situation is better. This is not one of them.
