R	Richard Stammler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, modern mit viel Holz. Man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Tolle Lage direkt bei der Donau. Wir hatten das Glück einen Tisch am Fenster zu bekommen und hatten so eine großartige Aussicht auf die Donau und das Kraftwerk Jochenstein. Alle Gerichte waren schön angerichtet, spitze kombiniert und haben uns allen vorzüglich geschmeckt. Wir hatten Hirsch, Wildschwein und Pute. Faire Preise für perfekte Qualität. Wir waren begeistert und kommen sicher wieder. Very cozy ambience, modern with a lot of wood. You feel right at home. Great location right by the Danube. We were lucky enough to get a table by the window and had such a great view of the Danube and the Jochenstein power plant. All the dishes were beautifully presented, great combinations and we all tasted great. We had deer, wild boar and turkey. Fair prices for perfect quality. We were thrilled and will definitely be back.

Ich komme bestimmt noch mal wieder! Super nice hotel! The food was fantastic and the service and the owner were very nice. The view from the restaurant on the Danube is simply fantastic. I will definitely come back again!

Good service. Excellent kitchen, all 4 "eaters" were completely satisfied. Magnificent view of the Danube valley.

Die Portionen waren schön angerichtet, ausgewogen und alles frisch und lecker. Wir waren kurz vor Weihnachten dort und wurden herzlich mit selbstgemachten Plätzchen empfangen. A small but very fine selection. There is something for everyone, whether fish, meat or vegetarian. The portions were nicely arranged, balanced and everything was fresh and tasty. We were there shortly before Christmas and were warmly welcomed with homemade cookies.

Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügen über ein großzügiges Bad. Kleines Manko, die Fenster hatten keinen Insektenschutz. Das Restaurant ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Blick auf die Schleuse und die vorbeiziehenden Hotelschiffe ist einmalig. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen, der Zander und der Tafelspitz waren ein Gedicht. Das Frühstück an folgenden Tag ließ auch keine Wünsche übrig. Das junge Team und sein Service sind hervorragend und sehr ambitioniert. Wir kommen gern wieder, auch mal für länger. On the way from Croatia to Berlin, we stayed in Engelhartszell in this house. The rooms are very comfortably furnished and have a spacious bathroom. Small drawback, the windows had no insect protection. The restaurant is very modern and tastefully decorated, the view of the lock and the passing hotel ships is unique. The food in the restaurant is highly recommended, the pikeperch and the boiled beef were a poem. The breakfast on the following day left nothing to be desired. The young team and their service are excellent and very ambitious. We'd love to come back, sometimes for a longer time.

Uns hat es allen wirklich sehr geschmeckt. Bei den Kids gabts Schnitzerl, meine Frau gönnte sich ein Steak und ich hab mir nen Zwiebelrostbraten bestellt. Abwechslungsreiche Karte mit tollen Gerichten. Ich denke hier wird jeder fündig. Ausreichend große Portionen und wie bereits gesagt - es war wirklich sehr schmackhaft. Ausblick auf die Donau/Kraftwerk Jochenstein. Die Bedienung war flott, sehr nett und auch die Menüs kamen ohne größere Wartezeiten. Preislich normales Mittelfeld. Wir werden auf jeden Fall ein weiters Mal vorbeischauen. Man kann definitiv nichts falsch machen hier mal nen Halt einzuplanen. Today I had lunch there with my wife and children. TOP. A really beautifully decorated and very bright restaurant. Very neat and clean. We all really enjoyed it. The kids had schnitzel, my wife treated herself to a steak and I ordered an onion roast. Varied menu with great dishes. I think everyone will find something here. Sufficiently large portions and as already mentioned - it was really very tasty. View of the Danube/Jochenstein power plant. The service was quick, very nice and the menus came without long waiting times. Priced normal midfield. We will definitely stop by one more time. You definitely can't go wrong planning a stop here.
