Die Gäste begannen zu singen und es war köstlich. Vielleicht ist beim nächsten Mal die Küche noch nicht so früh geschlossen, das wäre toll. A funny Beisl: I was there after a visit to the Volkstheater more or less by chance: The service was very nice, a bit drunk, but afloat. The guests started to sing and it was delicious. Maybe the next time the kitchen is not closed so early, that would be great.

Hier wird richtig gute, österreichische Hausmannskost zu günstigen Preisen serviert. Wochentags gibt es ein Menü, das sich essen lassen kann. Vor allem das Menü mit dem Schweinebraten ist der Hammer. Ein riesiger Knödel, butterweiches Fleisch und ein gutes Bratensafterl. Wie zu Hause von der Oma. There is a small outdoor dining area. The place has seen better days. What is worth mentioning, however, is the good food. Really good, Austrian home-style cooking is served here at reasonable prices. During the week there is a menu that can be eaten. Especially the menu with the roast pork is awesome. A huge dumpling, buttery meat and a good gravy. Like grandma's at home.

We returned a few years after leaving and she not only remembered us but also remembered our dogs names and asked for them. If you want a schnitzel or cordon bleu, Look no further. Everything is home made and fresh. Every time I return to Vienna, Bernard Stuberl is an absolute must for us to spend an evening with Claudia. Go early though as I believe the kitchen closes around 7:00 pm or 7:30 pm.
