M	Merlin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Zimmer sind im älteren Stiel eingerichtet, aber sehr gemütlich. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und persönlich. The rooms are decorated in the older stem, but very cozy. The service is very friendly and personal.

Super Lage, ruhig, tolle Halbpension (Luggi kocht selber), Sauna im Keller, kein Wifi Ist toll um richtig abzuschalten und in die Bergwelt einzutauchen "In Vergalden the world is still fine" Nice authentic mountain hotel run by Luggi and his wife. Great location, quiet, great half board (Luggi cooks himself), sauna in the basement, no Wifi Is great to switch off properly and immerse yourself in the mountains

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und Umgangston, sehr persönliche Betreuung inklusive Möglichkeit vegetarisch und wohl auch vegan zu essen. Einrichtung nicht auf dem neuesten Stand, aber sauber und gemütlich, an vielen Stellen urig. Toller Ausblick, Hauslift mit einfacher Übungspiste aber auch direkt an den „großen“ Skipisten gelegen. Half a day here and already excited. Very friendly welcome and tone, very personal care including the possibility to eat vegetarian and probably also vegan. Furnishing not up to date, but clean and comfortable, quaint in many places. Great view, house lift with easy practice slope but also located directly on the "big" ski slopes.

C'est un hôtel familial, chaleureux et confortable, qui est très bien situé (tout en haut du village, au milieu des sapins, au calme, avec un accès direct aux pistes de ski !) Les hôteliers sont disponibles et généreux, et le patron cuisine très bien ! Plats délicieux (faits maison) : cuisine traditionnelle et raffinée. Petit domaine skiable car c'est une petite station, mais il y en a pour tous les goûts ! Les profs de ski sont à l'écoute, précis et attentifs, très gentils et compétents ! L'ambiance est fun ! C'est un bien meilleur rapport qualité/prix que dans les stations françaises ! Le cadre est beau et apaisant : courrez-y, vous ne serez pas déçus ! Je recommande ce petit village autrichien pour un dépaysement total et des vacances mémorables +++ I have been going to this hotel since I was very little! It's been 40 years! It is a family hotel, warm and comfortable, which is very well located (at the top of the village, in the middle of fir trees, quiet, with direct access to the ski slopes!) The hoteliers are available and generous, and the boss cooks very well! Delicious dishes (homemade): traditional and refined cuisine. Small ski area because it is a small resort, but there is something for everyone! The ski teachers are attentive, precise and attentive, very kind and competent! The atmosphere is fun! It is a much better value for money than in French resorts! The setting is beautiful and soothing: run there, you won't be disappointed! I recommend this small Austrian village for a total change of scenery and a memorable holiday +++

It is right at the start of one of the best hikes out of the valley. Luggi the owner is wonderful, helpful, speaks English, and has a sense of humor. His family has been there forever. He is also a working farmer. The hotel could be improved by providing wifi, but it is worth a stay nonetheless.
