The dinning room is tastefully decorated but a little too bright for my taste, if the lights were dimmed it would feel slightly more cosy. The food was ok , nicely presented but quite salty, perhaps the Chef is in love ? We had a very nice evening in what can only be described as a perfect location, the hotel looks lovely , lots of little cosy corners to enjoy , also a modern bar , i was quite surprised how empty the place was.

Please be prepared to pay cash, we got asked for, because we wanted to pay by credit card and we had to listen to the story about the credit card organisation and the 4 percent disagio, they have to pay and that will ruin them on a long run. (We paid cash, we dont want them to go out of business, because of our credit card transaction fee. We love to help, if we can) Food tastes excelent, vegetarians are not the target group, but they get them proper food, if you ask for. There is a bar, but we got the feeling, we should be very thankfull, that they stay awake to serve us drinks or wine (long before midnight) Nevertheless the staff does a really great job, so my rating is three stars.

The hotel is in a secluded place where there ka only the hotel and the forest nothing else! Food itself was very very nice and i don't need to speak about the spectacular wine card. Maybe i would expect 10-20% better prices but to be fair the menu is available in the website so there is transparency on that. Last thing is the service which on some of the waitresses is not the best. We didn't feel a very warm welcoming spirit from each one of the crew.
