 Good home cooking and a very nice landlady. Locally recommended after a ski tour or hike.

Das Essen war super, und der Kuchen als Nachtisch ein Traum.
Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich!
Haben uns direkt ein Kärtchen geben lassen wegen einer Ferienwohnung.
Incredibly beautiful location, the children were busy all the time in the playground and looking at the animals.
The food was great and the cake for dessert was a dream.
The service was very friendly!
Have a card given to us about a vacation home.

Gestern wieder herzlichst bewirtet , leckeres Gulasch mit feinem Rotwein. Frühstück perfekt zum Tourenstart der nahegelegenen Vennspitze 2390m mit Ski . Komme gerne wieder.
Very comfortable room and fine food...nice hosts, everything perfect!
Warmly hosted again yesterday, delicious goulash with fine red wine. Breakfast perfect for the tour start of the nearby Vennspitze 2390m with skis. I'd love to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there for lunch. It was worth it. Nice outside sitting area in the sun. Tasty food and good portions. Good Wiener Schnitzel and delicious Knödel. Playground for kids. Friendly staff.

My wife and I were hiking in the Wipptal and spent 4 nights in the Gasthof Steckholzer. From room to breakfast and dinner everything was more than perfect. But the absolute highlight is the warmheartedness of the hosts. It was a pleasure for us! And we are looking forward to come back.
