 Very nice. 1000 meters in altitude from Kramsach in 2.5 hours. Delicious snacks and friendly staff.

Very cosy, good food. Sleeping is basic but clean. Very nice view and very friendly people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The breakfast was disappointing. The bread is dry and the meat is not of high quality. Therefore, the price for the breakfast is way too high. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It is in contrast to other huts I have visited an average hut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As part of my visit in Austria, this hut was indeed a highlight. The owner is welcoming, warm and always helps. The rooms are comfortable. Beautiful environment and the views are fantasy like. The food is served until 19:00, and it is even better than some of the restaurants iv'e been too - hearty, homemade and traditional. All the facilities are good, and this hut is indeed a good choice. Easy reservation through the website, and the stay is not too expensive (note- they accept cash only).
Bottom line - couldn't ask for a better way to finish a challanging day of hiking.
NOTES - it is a restaurant, as well as a sleeping place. No showers. All facilities are public. Breakfast is not worth the price, but may suffice your needs. Beautiful area and zeriner lake is 2 hours hiking from it (quite a pearl in the area)
