Im umgebenden Friedhof ist das Grab, des Erfinders, des bekannten Reimmichl-Kalenders. (An der südwestlichen Kirchen-Mauerecke.) Schön gepflegt. Nahe der Kirche befindet sich das empfehlenswerte Hotel Restaurant Maria Theresia
 A little out of the way, in the west of Hall / Tirol, neat little church. A place for prayer.
In the surrounding cemetery is the tomb, the inventor, of the well-known Reimmichl calendar. (On the southwestern corner of the church wall.) Nicely maintained. The recommendable Hotel Restaurant Maria Theresia is located near the church

Der kleine Andenken- und Pilgerladen gegenüber ist auf Grund des Angebots empfehlenswert und er ist nicht so unverschämt teuer wie anderenorts, wo man ausgenommen wird, wie die sprichwörtliche Weihnachtsgans. Absam ein sehr schöner Ort mit viel erhaltener historischer Substanz.
Now particularly attractive at Christmas and in January because of the crib. The small souvenir and pilgrim shop opposite is recommended due to the offer and it is not as outrageously expensive as elsewhere, where you are exempted, like the proverbial Christmas goose. Absam a very nice place with a lot of preserved historical substance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absam è situato lungo il Cammino di Santiago di Compostela, il noto sentiero di pellegrinaggio che porta attraverso l’Europa. Il paese stesso rappresenta un luogo di pellegrinaggio mariano, anche se la chiesa locale è consacrata all’Arcangelo Michele. Questa chiesa fu nominata nel 2000 a basilica minore, e racconta oggi in base a immagini votive di vari miracoli che si sono verificati presso il luogo di pellegrinaggio. Ha preso inizio il tutto, quando alla diciottenne Rosina Bucher nel 1797 è apparsa l’immagine della Madonna in una finestra ad Absam
Absam is located along the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela, the famous pilgrimage path that leads through Europe. The village itself is a Marian pilgrimage site, although the local church is consecrated to the Archangel Michael. This church was named in 2000 as a minor basilica, and today tells of various miracles that occurred at the pilgrimage site based on votive images. It all started when the 17-year-old Rosina Bucher in 1797 saw the image of the Madonna in a window in Absam
