★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are in Vienna for only one day. Arrived on Saturday PM. Walking about trying to find a restaurant that looked appealing and wasn't already overwhelmed with customers was a challenge. Looked inside this little gem and decided to stop for a drink. A step back in time, great atmosphere, nice background jazz, good beer and wine, kind service. Enjoyed the bar time immensely then decided to move on for food. Our bartender Maria warned us that most good restaurants near by would be booked fully for Saturday night. Not pushing, she mentioned their food (I wrongly thought they were only a bar). Long story short, had the goulash and wine to go with. It was great. In total a wonderful introduction to Vienna.
