Informationsanlagen, welche auf dem aktuellen Stand der Technik sind findet man vergeblich - muss aber auch nicht sein. Ein doch sehr großes Manko ist allerdings ein fehlender Lift/Aufzug. Gerade in einem Kurort finde ich solch eine Installation erheblich. Es fällt gerade älteren oder bewegungseingeschränkten Personen schwer, ihr Reisegepäck von Platfform 2 aus zum Ausgang über eine Stiege zu bewegen. Aber auch Reisenden mit Babys, welche einen Kinderwagen transportieren, betrifft dieses Problem. Bahnpersonal, welches helfen könnte findet man hier leider nicht. It is actually an old, romantic train station that fits into the surrounding mountain idyll. Information systems that are state-of-the-art can not be found - but they do not have to be. A very big drawback, however, is a lack of lift / elevator. Especially in a spa I find such an installation considerably. It is difficult especially elderly or movement restricted persons to move their luggage from platform 2 to the exit via a staircase. But also travelers with babies, who transport a stroller, concerns this problem. Railway staff, which could help you can not find here.

Warum es Bad Hofgastein nicht schafft, einen Bahnhof am Hügel zu bauen (bei der Seilbahn geht's ja auch), man kann sich nur wundern. Wer hier in der Nacht ankommt, kann auf jeden Fall die Ruhe, die Sterne, und die vorbeifahrenden Güterzüge genießen und auf einen Bus nach Bad Hofgastein - den Ort - hoffen. This station should not be called "Bad Hofgastein", but rather "Landidyll Nähe Bad Hofgastein". 3.5km / 40 minutes walk from Bad Hofgastein. Why Bad Hofgastein does not manage to build a railway station on the hill (it's possible with the cable car), you can only wonder. If you arrive here at night, you can definitely enjoy the tranquility, the stars, and the passing freight trains and hope for a bus to Bad Hofgastein - the place.

Dafür 3€ Kurtaxe pro Person und pro Nacht kassieren! Gutes Geschäft, Bad Hofgastein! The station is not barrier-free. Disabled people, parents with strollers and simply elderly people with suitcases need help from other people. Collect € 3 tourist tax per person per night! Good business, Bad Hofgastein!

In summer you can go for cycling or hiking or you can go swimming and rest by the water with perfect view on mountains. In winter is perfect for skiing, they have a lot of slope. Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gestein are connected with lift. In winter you can after skiing visit a SPA wit amazing view on mountains! In the town you can find lot of pleasant restaurants or pubs. You can really relax there!
