★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super fijne plek, met Brent en Vasso als twee hulpvaardige gastheren die het heel gezellig maken. Vlakbij skigebied Mayrhofen met toegang tot een groot skigebied (10 min auto, 15 min bus). Een oude, charmante woning volledig gerenoveerd (knap gedaan!) Leuk bij jullie te verblijven, dank jullie wel! ?
 Super nice place, with Brent and Vasso as two helpful hosts who make it very cozy. Close to the Mayrhofen ski area with access to a large ski area (10 min by car, 15 min by bus). An old, charming house completely renovated (nice job!) Nice to stay with you, thank you! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magical place in the heart of the Mountains! You've got the feeling that you are in the middle of nowhere, at the end of the world. Even though it is only a 10 minute drive to Mayrhofen!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The silence of this place is really great while it’s in the center of one of the greatest ski-areas from europe. The possibility to cook our own dinner is really very nice. Very friendly owners!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It s amazing how a little, quit hidden town can offer so much adventure. The hiking and biking here is amazing, the mountains extremely beautiful, you can climb rocks and in the winter it s one of the best places for wintersport. And if you stay at Backyard Mountain Hotel you are also able to relax, read a book, enjoy the view, maybe draw a bit; simply do whatever you wanna do on a holiday. The beautiful austrian house and nice hosts vasso and brent will make you feel welcome and comfortable. Defenitely coming back here again, both summer and winter!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys have created a top guesthouse, great location and service. Hospitality and comfort are the hallmarks of this hostel on the edge of the Zillertal. Perfect base for skiing, hiking and mountaineering. Compliments, the beds are top, kitchen, beer, food and cozy guest room, a great stay is guaranteed, I will definitely come back often, Thanks Guys for your very warm stay and welcome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the most amazing time at the backyard mountain hostel. The guys really make you feel at home. This beautifull place has a big living room where you can chill, play games and meet other people staying at the hostel. The dorm rooms have enough space and everything is new and clean. Having dinner together and going snowboarding together makes this a one of kind place. Definitely recommend staying here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great to stay during all seasons: in summertime there are amazing walking tracks which actually start in the backyard! During winter time you get the best of both worlds: the skiing tracks are just a short drive away, but the location is in a quiet area. The hostel has a cosy living room where it is so easy to interact with the other guests. Best part are the long tables, enough places for everyone to eat and to play heaps of games!! The hosts are helping you out with everything you need, they can also help you to get your snowboard skills to the next level!
