The staff is very kind and professional, and they take the time to learn your name and work with you one-on-one as often as possible. The courses are very accessible for beginners, but will still kick your butt and give you a hard workout even if you have been boxing for years. This isn't the type of gym you go to for "fight club", it is the type of gym you go to for an awesome, fun environment and a killer workout. Bonus points - You won't have any problems if you don't speak German.

Granted, I couldn't move for a week after my first training so I only signed up for a membership a week later, but since then, I am looking forward to every session I go to. Best team, so much fun and the intensity is high but enjoyable. Love it!

They take care of you if you’re a beginner and don’t put you on the spot. They also make sure that you always learn something new if you have been around for some time. Clean and cosy gym and awesome coaches.
P	Phonenipha Mathouchanh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome boxing club! Friendly team! Nice and clean facility! My trial session went so well and I decided to signed up for the entire year. I can't speak German and sometimes I do not want to ask questions in English to interrupt the entire group. The regular coah for my hour, Max, is very good at observing each student and takes time to demonstrate things in English. We train as a group but the coah is always arround to correct each student one by one. The club is also well located, nice and clean with good measure for covid-19.

A	Alessio Elia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Backyard is a very innovative way of doing sport. In some extend, quite close to cross-fit but definitely much more boxing oriented. The level is never too basic or too high and this is because of very professional staff which is always able to adapt the training sessions accordingly. Recommend to beginners who never wear boxing gloves before as well as to more advanced users who are willing to put-in some serious work. The single hour training session at Backyard should definitely become part of everyone’s training routine.

During the boxing instruction, she was very attentive and corrected our technique, which helped a lot. Next time I'm back in Vienna, I will definitely go back again. GREAT CLASS!
M	Minji Kim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd say Backyard! in a heartbeat, if anybody asks for a gym in Vienna, or is looking for fun in general: D I had one of my best trainings in this place, because: in a very clean, stylish setting, trainers were all time fully geared up with integrity and passion (real lovely folks!), and there was just friendly vibes and laughter every time I trained! I can say without reservation that they will get you to understand how fun fitness boxing is and will help you around even if you're a rookie (like I was), so if you're still reading my review, stop and please go have fun in this quality gym! (They also have the same club in the 4th district, which is equally good!) P.S. bloody Covid-19!
