Brot und Süßgebäck sind immer super frisch. Von den Torten war ich leider sehr enttäuscht, ich habe drei verschiedene Torten Stücke gekauft (Himbeer, Trüffel Schoko und Toffee) und alle drei waren leider nicht zufriedenstellend. Man schmeckte die abgestandene Butter und die Torten Creme war bei allen drei Sorten leider nicht mehr so frisch wie ich es von einer Konditorei erwartet habe. Vielleicht lag es am Standort oder den Corona Umständen, dass die Torten nicht mehr frisch waren. Sehr schade, alles andere kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.
(Anbei ein Bild von einer der Torten Stücke, leider drang der Geschmack älterer Butter durch)
I actually love pretty much everything from Wienerroither!
Bread and pastries are always super fresh. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the cakes, I bought three different pieces of cake (raspberry, chocolate truffle and toffee) and unfortunately all three were not satisfactory. You could taste the stale butter and the cake cream was unfortunately not as fresh as I would have expected from a pastry shop. Maybe it was because of the location or the Corona circumstances that the cakes were no longer fresh. It's a shame, I would highly recommend everything else.

There was no one behind us but a moment's hesitation about what we wanted to order immediately elicited loud sighs and huffs and a grumpy demeanor from the person serving. If you want anything make sure you know exactly what it is before you go in and don't pause for more than 2 seconds ordering.
Edit: in response to the follow up, yes it was the shop in Velden, there was a lady serving, probably in her 50s, and there was no one behind us waiting to be served so there was absolutely no reason to be impatient simply as my 7 year old and myself weren't immediately sure which cake to choose within two nanoseconds of entering the shop.
