★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As the breakfast at the close by Marriott Courtyard hotel is ridiculously priced, I regularly went out in the morning to get some breakfast items there. The coffee was very mediocre - but then again it's a bakery, so everything better than that would have come as a big surprise.
The bakery items were very good. You can get freshly made bread rolls with cold cuts (the famous "Extrawurstsemmel with Esiggurkerl", pickled gherkins) or with warm meat loaf ("Leberkäse"), even the one with cheese bits inside that I love.
Generally, the bread rolls and other items were fresh and crisp and had a good flavour. The sweet items were very good as well, especially the croissants filled with poppy seeds or with nuts.
Thanks for giving us a great breakfast alternative, would definitely go there again!
