Aber nun zum geschehenen:
Mein Wagen wurde wegen einer Reparatur von einzelnen Steinschlägen an der Windschutzscheibe in die besagte Werkstatt gebracht. Soweit alles gut und auch die Details wurden besprochen.
Am nächsten Tag war ich zur Abholung dort hin unterwegs. Beim Eintreten in die Werkstatt kam "Sehr schlechte Nachricht".
Beim einfahren in die Werkstatt sei einer der Steinschläge gerissen.
In den 3 Monaten davor (das Auto wurde auf Hebebühnen bewegt, die Reifen gewechselt etc.) ist nichts weiter passiert.
Naja. War wohl einfach nur Pech...
Aber das beste kam noch.
Die Reaktion der Inhaber darauf:
Sorry, ist nun mal so. Wir können nichts weiter für sie machen.
Wir sind uns keiner Schuld bewusst.
Nach schriftlicher Anfrage kam wieder:
Das kann passieren. Wir sind uns keiner Schuld bewusst.
Vertrauenswürdiges Verhalten sieht bestimmt anders aus.
Ich rate definitiv von diesem Betrieb ab.

But now to what happened:
My car was brought to the workshop in question for a repair of individual stone chips on the windshield. So far everything is good and the details have also been discussed.
The next day I was on my way to pick it up. "Very bad news" came on entering the workshop.
When driving into the workshop, one of the rockfalls cracked.
In the 3 months before that (the car was moved on lifting platforms, the tires were changed, etc.) nothing further happened.
Well It was just bad luck ...
But the best was yet to come.
The owner's reaction to this:
Sorry, that's the way it is. We can’t do anything else for them.
We are not aware of any guilt.
After a written request came again:
It can happen. We are not aware of any guilt.
Trustworthy behavior is definitely different.
I definitely advise against this company.
