 Nice view over the foothills of the Alps to the mountains. Nice playground. Nature trail and barbecue area nearby.

We started from the school in Mattsee. Great hike for the family. Walking time approx. 1 hour. Highly recommended.

We love the local recreation area Buchberg; with a wide variety of hiking opportunities even for smaller children. The playground, the viewing platform and the fireplace complete the experience for children and parents!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Durch die räumliche Nähe zum Buchberg, konnten wir die schöne Natur täglich genießen und haben uns da gut erholt.
Dabei kann man Spazieren, Wandern, Biken und immer wieder mal die Aussicht genießen, wenn Sie der Wald frei gibt.
Vor allem die Aussichtsplattform und der kleine Waldspielplatz sind schön angelegt.
Wir gehen sehr gern eine kleine Morgend-, Nachmittags oder Abendrunde um den Blick schweifen lassen zu können.
Due to the proximity to the Buchberg, we could enjoy the beautiful nature every day and have recovered well.
Here you can enjoy walking, hiking, biking and enjoy the view every now and then, when the forest is free.
Above all, the viewing platform and the small forest playground are nicely laid out.
We like to have a small morning, afternoon or evening round to let the view wander.
