F	Felix Schürmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein sehr schöner Wandersteig entlang des Achensees. Achtung: Es gibt einige etwas anspruchsvollere Stellen, die man nicht unterschätzen sollte. Der Steig ist dort schmal und steile Treppen führen ohne Geländer oder Griffmöglichkeiten neben einem beinahe 20 Meter senkrecht abwärts klaffenden Abhang vorbei. Nicht für Leute mit Höhenangst oder Schwindel. A very nice hiking trail along the Achensee. Danger: There are some more challenging parts that should not be underestimated. The path is narrow there and steep stairs lead past a slope that gaped almost 20 meters down vertically without handrails or grips. Not for people who are afraid of heights or dizzy.
A	Alfred on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Achensee bietet nicht nur Badefreuden und die Möglichkeit zu einer Fahrt mit einem der drei Panoramaschiffe, auch Radfahrer und Wanderer kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Besonders malerisch angelegt ist der sogenannte Mariensteig, an deren Ende oder Anfang, jenachdem, von welcher Seite man startet, die Gaisalm liegt. Diese ist gleichzeitig auch Schiffsanlehestelle. Der Mariensteig selbst mutet von seinem Aussehen und seiner Beschaffenheit in vielen Teilen wie ein Weg im Hochgebirge an. Ettliche Stellen weisen zudem künstlich angelegte Stufen an. Grundsätzlich erfordert der Steig eine gesunde Grundkonstitution und Trittsicherheit. Bei Regen bzw. nassen Verhältnissen erweist sich der Steig zuweilen als tückisch, da der Untergrund dann besonders rutschig ist. Alles in allem ist der Mariensteig wunderschön und bietet malerische Ausblicke auf den darunterliegenden Achensee und die umliegende Bergwelt. Wir sind ihn mit Hund gelaufen, der hatte seine helle Freude am Klettern, sowohl Hund als auch Mensch sollten jedoch sehr trittsicher sein. Macht auch Wandermuffeln (wie mir) Spaß! Beautiful hiking trail from the village to the mountain pasture directly over the lake. We ran it with a dog, he had a lot of fun climbing, but both dog and man should be very sure-footed. It's also fun for people who don't like hiking (like me)!
M	Michal Stastny on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Středně náročná stezka okolo jezera Achensee. Rozhodně nedoporučuji malým dětem, lidem trpícím závratěmi a lidem s problémy s pohybovým aparátem. Jezero má krásnou modro zelenou barvu, na některých místech si připadáte jako v Chorvatsku. Voda jezera má teplotu cca 18-20 stupňů, což není na dlouhé koupání, ale je osvěžující. Mezi jednotlivými místy na jezeře jezdí pravidelná lodní doprava. Moderately difficult trail around the Achensee lake. I definitely do not recommend small children, people with dizziness and people with musculoskeletal problems. The lake has a beautiful blue-green color, in some places you feel like in Croatia. The water of the lake is about 18-20 degrees, which is not for long bathing, but it is refreshing. There is a regular boat service between the places on the lake.
v	vlaasje on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super om te lopen. Pertisau naar achenkirch. Dochter van 11 jaar liep mee. Knap volgehouden maar toch net te lang. Dochter is erg sportief. Omgeving is schitterend! Pad is avontuurlijk en smal. Bij warm weer lekker je zwemkleding mee om onderweg een duik te nemen in het prachtige achensee. Great to walk. Pertisau to achenkirch. 11-year-old daughter came along. Handsome persisted, but just too long. Daughter is very sporty. Environment is beautiful! Path is adventurous and narrow. In warm weather, bring your swimsuit to take a dip in the beautiful Achensee on the way.

P	Phillipp Kramer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich laufe diesen Weg nach Möglichkeit jedes Jahr und es wird nie langweilig. Bei Regen sollte man aufpassen, da es dann rutschig wird. Meine Lieblingstour am Aachensee. I walk this trail every year whenever possible and it never gets boring. If it rains you should be careful because it will be slippery. My favorite tour on the Aachensee.
