Im Sommer sitzt man natürlich draußen, aber wenn man rein geht, erwartet einen eine urige, richtig schöne Alm. Wir waren gierig und haben den Fehler begangen uns zwei Kaiserschmarrn zu bestellen. Da war dann leider keine Platz mehr für einen Käseteller. Dort wird nämlich noch Käse hergestellt und wer so dumm wie wir ist, ist selber Schuld. Auf jeden Fall als Ziel zu empfehlen. Nice little Alm! A warm team welcomes you to the Au Hoch-Alm. In summer you sit outside, of course, but when you go in, a rustic, really beautiful alpine pasture awaits you. We were greedy and made the mistake of ordering two Kaiserschmarrn. Unfortunately there was no more room for a cheese plate. Cheese is still made there and anyone who is as stupid as us is to blame. Definitely recommended as a destination.

Vor Ort hat die Bedienung gesagt, dass es nur diese (ca.) 4 Tagesgerichte zur Auswahl zum Mittagessen gibt. An Stelle der großen Vielfalt eben nur 4 Tagesgerichte ohne jeglichen Hinweis auf der Homepage. A large menu with many dishes on their own website. The waitress said on site that there were only these (approx.) 4 daily dishes to choose from for lunch. Instead of the great variety, only 4 daily specials without any notice on the homepage.
a	aimlessb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Komme im Winter und im Sommer immer nach Ellamu und will es jedem ans Herz legen hier Mal herzukommen. Haben diese Hütte auf eine unserer Sommerwanderungen entdeckt weil die Tanzboden Alm Mal wieder voll war, sind dann noch den Extraweg zur Au-Hochalm genommen. Perfekt um nach einer Wanderung eine Brotzeit einen Kaiserschmarrn oder eine andere Spezialität zu genießen. Haben dann noch Käse und Speck mitgenommen für das Gefühl im Appartement. Kann es von vorne bis hinten empfehlen. I always come to Ellamu in winter and summer and I would like to encourage everyone to come here. If you discovered this hut on one of our summer hikes because the Tanzboden Alm was full again, you took the extra route to the Au-Hochalm. Perfect for enjoying a snack, Kaiserschmarrn or another specialty after a hike. Then we took cheese and bacon with us for the feeling in the apartment. Would recommend front to back.
M	Michael Hirte on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein tolle Bedienung. Sehr gutes Essen mit Käse aus eigener Herstellung. selbstgebackenes Brot , Kuchen. Bei unserem Besuch 5 kleine Kätzchen im urigen Almhof. A great waitress. Very good food with cheese from our own production. homemade bread, cakes. During our visit, 5 small kittens in the rustic Almhof.
R	Ralf K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gute Aussicht, Eine Alm wo es auch wirklich Rohmilch gibt. Freundlich, etwas Hochpreisig. Good view, an alpine pasture where there is really raw milk. Friendly, a bit expensive.
B	Boris Collmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein Highlight des Wanderurlaubs war diese Perle auf dem Weg zur Bergstation. Im Winter wird es hier sicher proppenvoll sein, aber dass hier ein solches Kleinod inmitten der Berge liegt... 1. Dieser Ort ist ein Traum: Sowohl außen als auch innen ist die Au-Hoch-Alm wirklich sehenswert. Die Bilder sprechen für sich! MAn fühlt sich hier sofort sehr wohl und genießt das kühle Nass mit einem traumhaften Blick ins Tal und in die Berge. 2. Und das Essen? Ein Gedicht - Spinat-Pressknödel mit Käse, dazu eine kühle Hopfenkaltschale und auch die anderen Speisen waren hervorragend. Hier gibt es selbstgemachte Drinks mit Früchten, Die Aualm und Au-Hoch-Alm stellen alles (buchstäblich) selbst her. Vom Käse zur WUrst, von der Milch zum Erfrischugnsgetränk - alles selbst gemacht. Am Freitag vormittag haben wir dann auch nochmals kräftig vom Stand der Au-Hochalm in Söll eingekauft. Landjäger, Würste, Käse,FLeisch, alles vom feinsten! 3. Schlussendlich war der Service auch super nett. Es war zwar nicht viel los, als wir da waren, aber sollte es mal zu Wartezeiten kommen: Es lohnt sich. Für mich ein Highlight im Wilden Kaiser!! A highlight of the hiking holiday was this pearl on the way to the mountain station. In winter it will certainly be jam-packed, but that such a gem lies in the middle of the mountains ... 1. This place is a dream: both outside and inside, the Au-Hoch-Alm is really worth seeing. The pictures speak for themselves! MAn feels very comfortable here and enjoys the cool water with a fantastic view of the valley and the mountains. 2. And the food? A poem - spinach dumplings with cheese, a cool hop cold dish and the other dishes were excellent. There are home-made drinks with fruit, The Aualm and Au-Hoch-Alm do everything (literally) themselves. From cheese to sausage, from milk to a refreshing drink - all homemade. On Friday morning, we then again vigorously shopped from the state of Au-Hochalm in Söll. Landjäger, sausages, cheese, fish, everything from the finest! 3. Finally, the service was super nice. It was not busy when we were there, but should it come to waiting times: it's worth it. For me a highlight in the Wilder Kaiser !!

Die etwas abseits gelegene Hütte lädt durch die ruhige Umgebung zum längeren Verweilen ein und bietet sich dadurch perfekt an zum Entspannen. Großteils werden Produkte aus eigener Erzeugung verarbeitet. Qualitativ hochwertige Küche mit einer kleinen aber feinen wechselnden Karte. A very original and cozy Alm run by the locals, an insider tip away from the mass processing, so to speak. The somewhat secluded hut invites you to linger longer due to the quiet surroundings and is therefore perfect for relaxing. For the most part, products from our own production are processed. High quality cuisine with a small but fine changing menu.
