Feels like home !!!

Excellent service, owner is really friendly and helpful. He organises taxis, gives you all the info you need and you can call him any time if you need help, even if you get lost. Such good and friendly service is not something you see that often, many can learn from the owner! Apartment itself was fine, basic but everything you need. Location may not be city centre but easy access by efficient and cheap public transport makes up for that. Bonus: peace and quiet after busy centre. bakery and shops are 2 minute walk. Perfect!

The two of us stayed in Apt #1 for six nights in September. The apartment was large, bright, spacious, comfortable and clean. Public transport in Vienna is brilliant and relatively cheap so making it very easy to get around. The Austrian food at the local restuarants, the Liebstoeckl and the Ottakringer Landhaus, was very good and is to be recommended - we did not feel the need to explore further in the evenings.

We stayed 5 nights in apartment number 8 and after a long and tiring day sightseeing it was always nice to have a "home" to return to. The apartments are situated in what was once a former residential building and its historical ambience and charm is welcoming, and intriguing. The hosts Stephanie and Christian are attentive to detail, providing a spotlessly clean environment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our apartment was spacious and tastefully appointed.( just like the pictures ) The kitchen though compact was adequately stocked to cook a meal with a full cook top and oven, and dishwasher. Bathroom was functional with a great shower and copious amounts of hot water. The fact that it had a separate toilet was also a plus. We had two television sets, one in the lounge area and the other in the bedroom. I can't recall even turning them on as we were too tired to watch television, but a nice thought anyway. Although situated in a suburb of Vienna transport is no problem whatsoever. The number 43 tram ( S Bahn ) or the train ( U Bahn ) are right on the doorstep with frequent services into the city. We timed it and it took 15 minutes from departure to arrival. Banks, restaurants, shops, bakeries are plentiful and there are 2 major supermarkets close by for the provision of groceries. I must admit I did my homework and shopped around for similar properties in Vienna but found none that could compare to that of Ferchergasse and the lovely hosts. We would certainly recommend this to our friends and to readers. Post note.... forgot to mention that in this age of communication there is free wifi available in all apartments .

We only had a weekend in Vienna, but we would have loved to stay in the Appartements Ferchergasse longer. Our apartment was in the last floor and had a terrace. And it was so nice to sit outside in the evening. The apartment itself was very well equipped, so you really will not miss anything there. The owners are very friendly and really know a lot about Vienna, so just ask them for tips. In the neighbourhood you find many restaurants (we really liked Liebstoeckl) so you don't have to cook if you don't want. And with the tram you only need 15 minutes to the city center so this is very comfortable.

Steps from the tram, bus, and train, with a terrifically responsive and helpful staff team, I can only recommend Appartments Ferchergasse. A ground floor apartment was our home for six weeks as we were moving to Austria, and we really enjoyed staying there. A fully-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms -- it had everything our family needed for a long stay. On the 43 tram, we were in to the center of the city in 15-20 minutes. The immediate surroundings are an interesting urban neighborhood with food and drink options as well as having a large hardware store around the corner. Also around the corner is a bike path that takes you in 5 minutes by bike to a vineyard and 10 minutes to the forest surrounding Vienna. All-in-all, a great stay and we would definitely stay again in the future.

It's a little gem in the 17th district. It's a great Viennese neighbourhood with traditional pubs and restaurants The management is very helpful with information and tips around Vienna. Rooms are great. We stayed as a family for a city trip and all our needs were actually were met at the spot. 100% recommend.

The apartment was great, with a large bedroom, everything was clean and had everything you need. Apartment is located in a quiet and peaceful place, very close to public transport, tram and train. There are several markets in the area. The host was very kind, he welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know while we were there and was available all the time. Overall we had a great trip to Vienna.
