★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Kichelerhof ist einfach empfehlenswert. Die Lage, das Haus, das Appartement (wir hatten zu viert das Appartement Zillertal) und nicht zuletzt natürlich die Gastgeber - alles war außergewöhnlich gut. Man muss wissen, dass es sich um einen aktiven Bauernhof mit Kühen handelt, die um halb sechs morgens gemolken werden und deren Mist durchaus auch mal "riecht". Wen das nicht stört, der ist hier bestens aufgehoben. WIR jedenfalls würden den Kichelerhof jederzeit wieder als Unterkunft wählen, wenn wir noch einmal ins Zillertal kommen bzw. an den Achensee, der ja auch nur einen Katzensprung entfernt ist.
The Kichelerhof is simply recommendable. The location, the house, the apartment (there were four of us in the Zillertal apartment) and last but not least, of course, the hosts - everything was exceptionally good. You have to know that this is an active farm with cows that are milked at half past five in the morning and that their manure sometimes "smells". If that doesn't bother you, you're in good hands here. WE would in any case choose the Kichelerhof as accommodation again at any time if we come back to the Zillertal or to the Achensee, which is only a stone's throw away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich bin hier auf meinem Jakobsweg eher zufällig gelandet. Sehr tolle Zimmer. Köstliches und liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück. Gastfreundliche Familie. Mit Abstand das beste Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, das ich je in Österreich hatte!
I ended up here on my way to St. James by accident. Very great rooms. Delicious and lovingly prepared breakfast. Hospitable family. By far the best value for money I've ever had in Austria!
