★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed there for a ski trip. Kaprun and Zell-am-See are just a short drive away. Owners were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to stay in the austrian mountains. Very clean, comfy and Britt, the host, is really nice and helpful. You can play pool or table tennis or have a sauna. The room for skiroom is heated and spaceous. I totally recomend this place. Thank you Britt for your hospitality!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry, but we were not happy with our stay. We were there for a week. The house was very cold and this after a day in the mountains...Every day during our skiing the host came in our rooms to lower the heating - very unpleasant! There was not hot water - the explanation of the host was that thay have to many gasts??!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was no hot water unless you didnt do a little trick to make it work, and it took 20 mins to reach the showering temperature.
The lightness of the the house is very poor, indeed it is quite dark.
The house lady is everything but kind and professional!
I strongly DO NOT recommend this place!

Convenient location, groceries at SPAR just down the road & an hour's drive to Großglockner.
Chris and Britt are very quick with responding to our requests. They day-trip tips also saved us quite some research, time and money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we've rented an apartment for a few days with a kitchenette, which was quite useful. the view from the balcony was really good and the bed was comfortable. you can buy sommer cards if you stay here, which will save you plenty of money :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean comfortable room with an amazing view out the balcony. Easy check-in , ample parking place and all amenities within walking distance. Chris and Britt were both very helpful people and friendly to approach. Highly recommend visiting Uttendorf and staying at Brandeck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The heating in the apartment was either too high or too low, never okay. Sometimes there was a problem with hot water what is very problematic especially in the winter. The host seemed hostile towards us and lef us a comment that the apartment was a mess after we have lef this. That was not true and I consider it very, very rude. We washed the dishes, took out the trash, made our beds and left the used towels on the floor. I travel a lot and I always leave the room as described above. If the host expected us to clean the apartment fully... then I'm really sorry, but it's not your guests' task. Your staff should take care of that. I do not recommend House Brandeck to anyone. I'm sorry, but this is not a friendly place.
