Er hat nicht nur ein beeindruckendes Können, sondern weiß auch, wie er mir als Schüler genau das vermitteln kann, was ich gerade brauche. Durch seine eigene Erfahrung weiß er einfach, was didaktisch funktioniert und was nicht. Ich habe viel profitiert vom Unterricht bei ihm: Feintuning, um Basslines zum Grooven zu bringen, ein super musikalischer Zugang zu Theorie, fundiertes Coaching beim Komponieren, Produzieren, Equipmen usw. Er ist auch sehr aufgeschlossen für experimentelle und ungewöhnliche Zugänge, was ich sehr schätze. Große Empfehlung! André is not only a top bass player, but also a well-versed musician. He not only has impressive skills, but also knows how to convey to me as a student exactly what I need right now. Through his own experience, he simply knows what works didactically and what doesn't. Er weiß alles über Bässe, entwickelt auch sein eigenes Spiel ständig weiter und ist der einfühlsamste Lehrer, den man sich vorstellen kann. Kennt sich auch super mit techn. Equipment, Aufnahme, Produktion aus und ist ein Großmeister am Stick und Looper. Was er freilich nicht kann, ist dir das Üben abnehmen. Although I play other intruments the Stick has been a challenge which became a pleasure to deal with. Without André's help and professional insight things would be more difficult, and the steps harder. Since the pandemic we have been having lessons online which are as good as in person, durings these lessons we are able to tackle issues, work on exercises, music theory, but also posture. He is a great instructor and I am happy to continue this musical journey with him.
