Die loks sind schön und das museum interessant wenn man es 1 mal gesehen hat reicht es aber auch. The community cofinanced the playground, but inhabitants of the municipality have to pay for the entrance, so there are only 3 stars. The locs are nice and the museum interesting if you have seen it once but it is enough.
X	XFlow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Immer wieder ein toller Ausflug, besonders an Betriebstagen. Sehenswerte Stücke österreichischer Eisenbahngeschichte. Für die Kinder gibts einen riesen Erlebnisspielplatz! Always a great trip, especially on business days. Pieces of Austrian railway history are well worth seeing. There is a huge adventure playground for the children!

Im Ringschuppen sind alte Dampflocks zu sehen und ihre Geschichte nachzulesen. Interessant ist auch das angeschlossene Bergbau Museum, in dem über den frühen vor Ort durchgeführten Kohleabbau zu erfahren ist. Gut gemacht für Kinder, die viel selber ausprobieren können. For railway enthusiasts Interesting place. You can see how old railways are being restored. In Ringschuppen you can see old Dampflocks and read their history. Also interesting is the attached Mining Museum, where you can find out about the early on-site coal mining. Well done for children who can try a lot for themselves.
T	Thomas L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolles Museum! Hab meinen Vater dort bei einem Dampflok Kurs besucht. Die Leute dort sind alle freundlich. Bin selbst nicht so von Zügen begeistert doch auch ich fands dort sehr interessant! Great museum! Visited my father on a steam train course there. The people there are all friendly. I'm not that enthusiastic about trains myself, but I found it very interesting too!

Das Museum an sich hat sicher schon bessere Zeiten gesehen, teilweise fehlen Exponate. Very impressive for those interested in railways, see the huge old steam engines. The museum itself has certainly seen better days, some exhibits are missing.

J	Joachim Böhr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Echt schönes Ausflugsziel für die ganze Familie. Schöne Ausstellung, Modellbahnen leider nur zu Sonderterminen geöffnet. Highlight war natürlich der Dampfsonderzug nach Timelkam. Sind zwar auch sehr viele desolate Züge auf der Fläche, aber die überholten sind echte Schmuckstücke. Personal, bzw. Clubmitglieder sind alle nett und auskunftsfreudig. Really nice destination for the whole family. Nice exhibition, model railways unfortunately only open on special dates. Highlight was of course the steam special train to Timelkam. Although very many desolate trains on the surface, but the outdated are real gems. Staff, or club members are all nice and informative.
