If you have less time better things to do in Vienna .

This is a great little stop. The staff love what they do and are proud of their company heritage. This place has some history.
The tastings are great and all of the flavors are available to by at very reasonable prices.
We took an Uber there and back. It was cheaper than the tram or bus, and super easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great to see the old room in its original condition as it used to be. Learning about the different types of brandy, schnapps, and liqours as well as the differences between each was very cool. Tour guide was humourous which is always a plus. And free schnapps afterwards is never a bad thing. I enjoyed the chilli liqour and all the créme liqueurs.

The tour was very short and only covered three main places -- the office where they used to do business, the receiving area for guests where the portrait of Franz Joseph follows you around the room, and the distillery. Despite the tour being in German, we could understand some parts due to the tour guide's expressive gestures.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place, it has a cool history and family story. The tour takes you through an original office space pre-dating World War II. They explain the different types of liquors and schnapps they make and there is a tasting afterwards. Tour guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have done this tour twice, it's so much fun.
