★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exorbitantly overpriced for its standard, especially the drastically increased weekend rates beginning from Thursday! It's the most expensive of the 13 Best Alpine Wellness Resorts, but certainly not the best of the 13.
No symmetry to decor theme as the reception, lobby & most other areas are old fashioned, then in between there are a few contemporary dining areas.
No wifi for regular guests anywhere throughout the hotel or rooms, only weak wifi in the lobby - only guests staying in suites are given the wifi password for in room, restaurants, spa & waterworld areas.
It's waaaayyyy too congested, the pools, ponds outdoor area are extremely claustrophobic, all the pools & ponds are right next to each other tightly squeezed together in one cluttered area, there are no open spaces. Rooms have a repugnant odour. Nothing at all through out the hotel is fragranced. No hair conditioner. The new wings rooms have got absolutely no views & are as tiny a prison cell. The women working the Wellness area Gabriel is terribly unhelpful & unfriendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely wonderful resort hotel! We enjoyed four nights there in May, and liked it so much that we asked if we could stay an extra three days ... Great rooms, a fantastic wellness area (don't miss the "Aufguss" in the main sauna in the late afternoon), a lovely child care program (= some extra relaxation time for the parents), a very large pool area with something for everyone, fine foods - and last but not least superb staff. We'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever been to. The breakfast buffet is leaves no wish unfulfilled . For fussy vegans to those who love a hearty breakfast..... everyone is covered .
I have seldom seen such excellent buffets .
The staff were beyond excellent .
They go out of their way to make every aspect of your holiday perfect. Our family suite was lovely and spacious and elegant. The choice of pools and areas to relax is staggering . Kids entertained the whole time .
The entertainment in evenings was better than I have experienced in any other 5 star resort.
This is really the place to come if you are a young family - they just take care of you .
Though I have decided to go there soon with just the husband and Myself and let us get spoiled . We were there for a ski holiday - they sorted everything out ! The kids want to go back in summer - no argument from me there !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to hotel Schwarz since i'm 9 years old. The Spa is just stunning and the new Sauna world amazing ??. The food choice is amazing however it could be a bit more refined. Restaurant service can be improved for a 5 star hotel. I’m sure it will be better next time i visit :)
