Os preços aumentaram bastante!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Gasthof hat etwas gehobene Küche und ist geschmacklich gut. Leider passte das noch dreckige Besteck und das Weinglas mit altem Rand oben nicht so ganz dazu. Alles in allem aber zu empfehlen.
The inn has a bit of upscale cuisine and tastes good. Unfortunately, the still dirty cutlery and the wine glass with the old rim didn't quite go with it. All in all, however, to be recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein wirklich außerordentlicher Gasthof mit historischer Gaststube und absolut wunderschönem Ambiente. Die beiden Bedienungen waren super freundlich, kompetent und fanden für alles eine gastfreundliche Lösung. Zur Küche kann man nur in Superlativen sprechen, super Gerichte, toll zusammengestellt und bestens zubereitet. Das funktionierende digitale Reservierungssystem hebt diesen Gasthof noch zusätzlich von vielen anderen ab. Gerne kommen wir wieder nach Schattwald in den Alpengasthof zur Post.
A really extraordinary inn with a historic dining room and absolutely beautiful ambience. The two waitresses were super friendly, competent and found a hospitable solution for everything. You can only talk about the kitchen in superlatives, great dishes, well put together and perfectly prepared. The functioning digital reservation system also sets this inn apart from many others. We would love to come back to Schattwald to the Alpengasthof zur Post.

Das Frühstück ist super mit einer großen Auswahl!
Die Sauna ist sehr klein und die Öffnungszeiten sind leider nur sehr kurz (15 bis ca. 19 Uhr)
Das gehobene Essen passt überhaupt nicht zum Service und dem Ambiente.
Das Personal ist nicht sehr aufmerksam und wirkt eher unprofessionel.
Homepage much more appealing than the inn on site.
The breakfast is great with a lot of choice!
The sauna is very small and the opening times are unfortunately only very short (3 p.m. to approx. 7 p.m.)
The upscale food doesn't match the service and ambiance at all.
The staff is not very attentive and seems rather unprofessional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel, nice breakfast, nice restaurant. Nice staff. Problems with signal of wifi but :) they have electricity wifi adapter and everything was perfect. Parking is free and is very close.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and helpful staff. Have stopped here a couple of times for food and refreshments whilst cycling through. Food and coffee is good. Nice location as well. Seems to be plenty of parking (although I am always by bike!)
