Wir sind am Ende einer schönen Wanderung spontan in den Alpengasthof Hirschbichl eingekehrt und wurden freundlich empfangen.
Das Essen (Gulaschsuppe, Kaiserschmarrn) war sehr schmackhaft und preiswert.
Gerne empfehlen wir die Lokalität weiter.
 Good food, friendly service.
At the end of a beautiful hike, we spontaneously stopped by the Alpengasthof Hirschbichl and were warmly welcomed.
The food (goulash soup, Kaiserschmarrn) was very tasty and inexpensive.
We are happy to recommend the location to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Diese Unterkunft ist eine wunderbare Zeitreise und passt wunderbar zu einem entschleunigenden Urlaub.
Achtung, dies ist kein Luxushotel sondern eine liebevolle romantische Bleibe.
Der Gastwirt war sehr hilfsbereit bei unser späten Bitte nach einem Taxi am frühen Morgen und unsere Bedienung im Restaurant sehr emsig.

This accommodation is a wonderful journey back in time and is ideal for a relaxing holiday.
Attention, this is not a luxury hotel but a loving, romantic place to stay.
The innkeeper was very helpful with our late request for a taxi in the early morning and our service in the restaurant was very busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Wir sind schon früh los und haben um ca10.30 auf einen Kaffee beim Hirschbichl gestoppt. Die Bedingungen waren alle sehr nett. Das Schnitzel auf der Karte wäre es gewesen, das haben wir leider bei unserem Mittagsstopp nicht mehr angeboten bekommen.
I liked that very much. We set off early and stopped at about 10.30 a.m. for a coffee at the Hirschbichl. The conditions were all very nice. It would have been the schnitzel on the menu, unfortunately we weren't offered that anymore during our lunch stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das ideale Ziel nach einer Wanderung im Nationalpark.Direkt an der deutsch/österreichischen Grenze gelegen. Ein Haus der Gastlichkeit mit reichlich Auswahl an regionaler Küche. Sehr guter Service und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Waren schon einmal dort und unser jüngster Besuch hat diesen Eindruck bestätigt. Gerne wieder??
The ideal destination after a hike in the national park, right on the German / Austrian border. A house of hospitality with a large selection of regional cuisine. Very good service and very friendly staff. Have been there before and our recent visit confirmed this impression. Gladly again??
