Perfekter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen - liebe Grüße aus Halle :) Great informal atmosphere, nice rooms, great food (with the possibility to have a second helping - where else can you find something like that?!), nice outdoor seating area and super nice people! Perfect starting point for hiking. We would definitely come back - greetings from Halle :)

Alle Teilnehmenden fühlten sich bei Familie Eppensteiner sehr wohl! Die Zimmer und das gesamte Haus sind sehr sauber, ohne an Gemütlichkeit zu verlieren. Insbesondere die Gaststube strahlt mit ihren Holzdecken einen alpinen Charme aus. Das Frühstück übertraf unsere Erwartungen und das 4-gängige Abendessen (Suppe, Salat, Hauptspeise, Nachtisch) war ebenfalls sehr ansprechend, vor allem auch die vegetarischen Optionen. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr fair, zumal auch ein Saunabereich (wurde von uns nicht genutzt) zur Verfügung steht. Die Herzlichkeit und Leidenschaft, mit der Familie Eppensteiner sowie alle Angestellten die Unterkunft betreiben, ist einmalig. Die Unterkunft liegt auf der Anhöhe und wartet dementsprechend mit Sonne und schönem Panorama auf. Ins Skigebiet Bergeralm sind es etwas mehr als 15 Minuten, zudem ist die Unterkunft idealer Ausgangspunkt für Skitouren. Auch im Sommer ist das Wipptal bestimmt eine Reise wert. We stayed at the Alpengasthof Eppensteiner for a weekend with a group of almost 30 adults at the end of March 2022. All participants felt very comfortable with the Eppensteiner family! The rooms and the entire house are very clean without losing comfort. The dining room in particular exudes alpine charm with its wooden ceilings. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and the 4-course dinner (soup, salad, main course, dessert) was also very appealing, especially the vegetarian options. The price/performance ratio is also very fair, especially since there is also a sauna area (we didn't use it) available. The warmth and passion with which the Eppensteiner family and all employees run the accommodation is unique. The accommodation is on the hill and accordingly offers sun and a beautiful panorama. It takes just over 15 minutes to get to the Bergeralm ski area, and the accommodation is also an ideal starting point for ski tours. Even in summer, the Wipptal is definitely worth a trip.

Der Ausblick auf die Berge sensationell. Ebenso hat mit die Sauna sehr gut gefallen. Hier komme ich gerne wieder hin. Very delicious food and a fantastic New Year's Eve fondue. Very familiar and a great team. The rooms are very clean and modern. The view of the mountains is sensational. I also liked the sauna very much. I would love to come back here.

The owners were very nice and helpful. We ate in the restaurant only once, but the food was tasty and freshly cooked and served with excellent beer. Recommended.
