★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Very friendly, family owned- and operated, rustic Tyrolean charme and outstanding food at decent prices.
No après ski, no noisy bars, just laid back relaxing and a great spa.
WiFi and internet speed were upgraded during COVID-19 lockdown. No more internet issues at all.
We'll be back a.s.a.p.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a gorgeous, family-run hotel set deep in the Austrian Alps. The location is breath-taking, the food absolutely delicious (made with their own ingredients from their farm/small restaurant, the Steiner Alm further up near the Obernberger See), the family and service is just so friendly, and the Tyrolean touches are a delight. We will be back!

The restaurant ia very good, the managers and the staff are such nice people. You can rent e bikes and explore the area and its not fat to go to the amazing mountain lake "Obernberger See"
The guest rooms are pretty nice to and have a cool style.
You have to try the local "Zirben Schnapps" :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a little gem of a place! Not just a wonderful family-run alpine hotel, but an authentic, quiet spot in a breathtakingly beautiful valley. The Almbergers and their staff are such friendly, kind people, that care about making you happy. The food is delicious, with locally-sourced ingredients (from the family farm), and the warm atmosphere is certainly enhanced by the variety of schnaps they put at your disposal. Hope to be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hotel in Obernberg am Brenner. The staff and family are very kind and professional. They obviously take great pride in their product. The room was clean and cozy. The bathroom was clean with modern decor and plenty of hot water. Their spa area is wonderful: hot dry and wet sauna’s, lounge panorama, thermal infrared booth, excellent tea selection. A great place to calm the mind and rejuvenate the body. The breakfast and diner are tasty and more than adequate with abundant fresh vegetables, grains, and quality proteins and just ripe fruit. I would highly recommend a stay here.
