★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir hatten das Glück bei schönem Wetter draußen zu sitzen und das gute Essen (sehr große Porionen) zu genießen. Verspeist wurden gebackener Parasol, Linsen mit geselchtem und Eierschwammerlsauce mit Semmelknödel. Absolut ausreichend für einen hungrigen Wanderer.
We were lucky enough to sit outside when the weather was nice and enjoy the good food (very large portions). Baked parasol, lentils with smoked sauce and chanterelles sauce with bread dumplings were eaten. Absolutely enough for a hungry hiker.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wer keine großen Ansprüche stelltkann dort schnell was essen und trinken. Mein Essen, Klosteralmteller, war leider versalzen und wurde geschmacklich schon paar Mal aufgewärmt. Dem Bauernschmaus ging es nicht anders. Ich denke, dass das Essen Tage zuvor vorgekocht wurde. Sehr schade.
If you do not have big expectations, you can eat and drink there quickly. Unfortunately, my meal, Klosteralmteller, was over-salted and has been warmed up a few times. The farmer's feast was no different. I think the food was precooked days before. A pity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderschöne Lage beim Muckenkogel, die Terrasse schön groß angelegt und die Speisekarte liest sich auch sehr gut da reichlich Auswahl vorhanden ist. Nette Wirtsleute die auf das Wohl der Gäste schauen und der Schweinsbraten war auch einmalig lecker. Bei den Linsen war ich mir da nicht so sicher, denn sie schmeckten irgendwie langweilig, hier fehlte etwas. Meiner Meinung zu wenig gewürzt. Dennoch ein tolles Ambiente und gute Speisekartenauswahl.
Beautiful location at the Muckenkogel, the terrace laid out large and the menu is also very good as there is plenty of choice available. Nice hosts looking for the well-being of the guests and the roast pork was also delicious. I was not so sure about the lentils because they tasted boring somehow, something was missing here. In my opinion too spicy. Nevertheless, a great atmosphere and good menu selection.

Bin immer wieder gerne dort.
Trotz einigen verhaltensauffälligen Bundeshauptstädtern unter den Gästen, fühlt man sich im Almgasthaus wohl.

I'm always happy to be there.
In spite of some behavioral problems in the federal capital among the guests, you feel at home in the Almgasthaus.
