★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 6 years of not living in Wien, first thing we did when landing on our holidays was to head into this place for lunch. It hasn’t lost a bit of its superb quality on food… and the owner remembered us. Food is awesome, portions are big, and the staff is very friendly. Best italian restaurant in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a pizza to take away upon collection I asked the server if he could cut the pizza which he replied: don’t you have knives at home? I said no because I wasn’t staying at home. Same server replied to me in Italian “mi rompi il coglioni” which translates in English to “you are breaking my balls”….I’m in disbelieve of the server very poor manners towards customers. Pizza was nice but I genuinely won’t be returning.

A little outside the city center but it's worth to walk up Landstrasse Hauptstrasse to dine in this typical Italian-Viennese restaurant. It's part of Viennese culture to have Italian-style ice cream parlors (one is just across the street of Al Sarago) and Italian restaurants throughout the city. Mediterranean flair and Viennese charms give a nice cultural blend.
Great Italian food, not just your typical Pizza and Pasta. Definitely a thumbs up and recommendation from me if you are on the lookout for a nice evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner at Al Sarago, I like it because it is so close to our apartment. What I felt a bit awkward was the waiter speaking just in Italian, I mean I understand the attachment but I was always uncomfortable to answer because I did not know if I understood it right. Other than that, the food was tasty we had a Salame pizza and a Pizza Tonno. It was so fresh and delicious.
