I have sung her praises so much, I am sure my family and friends are sick of hearing about it. She responded to our every worry (and BOY there were many with traveling during the pandemic) with prompt professionalism. She always had a plan AND a backup plan, and both of them were somehow perfect. The day of the pictures, she had taken care of things I didn't even think of, like packing extra warm clothing, hot tea, snacks, and boot spikes to manage the slippery part of the hikes. I am not someone who wants to fuss over the details, so she did it for me! On the day, both my husband and I were awkward in front of the camera. She turned our awkward giggly breakdowns into some truly beautiful pictures of us smiling and having fun together. You honestly can't do better than Wild Connections

We absolutely ADORE our wedding photos and are astonished at how many people have commented that we have the most stunning and epic wedding photos they have ever seen. We weren’t completely sure how to have an elopement/adventure wedding, and Cat consistently pointed us in the most helpful direction. From there she sent us suggestions of places to shoot so we could choose what we wanted. After choosing a location she helped us with a timeline so we could get the best pictures with the sun setting and put together a timeline for the day! We stayed in contact as the day got closer as well and Cat was very on top of things!! With the weather changing we did have to go to plan b and shoot a day early but with Cat telling us a few days in advance we were able to make it work out and had the perfect shoot! Don’t hesitate just book Cat now for your next shoot you won’t regret it!!

Her knowledge of the area – and willingness to go test-hike the route since she had not been there before either – helped calm my planning nerves. She knew when to help guide us for certain pictures vs when to step back and let us have private moments. She was able to answer a variety of logistical questions like how to best pack the dresses and ability to hike down after the ceremony, as well as help us maintain focus on the importance of the day: spending time together with each other in the ways we enjoy as we promise and plan our future together.

I don't know how often you can find a photographer that hand-picked locations based on your preferences and then hikes up there with you to make you wedding dreams come true.
