N	Nikita Nikonets on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a German course in Actilingua in 2015. And I have to warn you: actilingua is not for you if you want to learn German. In case if you want just have some fun, its excellent for you, they have lots of excursions and other activities. Otherwise you will waste your time and looots of money (these courses are extremly expensive!) Teachers are absolutely not competent, lessons are boring and not effective at all.After this course I didnt feel any improvment, it was just useless! So, choose for yourself, but I strongly recommend you to find other courses for better outcomes (check Deutschkurse in Universität Wien). Thanks for your attention)
T	Timon Németh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took part in the Sommer course for students 16-19 y.o. for 2 weeks, as a such it was a great experience with motivated teachers and classmates from all around the world. Per day we had 2 lessons of grammar and 2 lessons of conversations. Conversations were awesome and awesome only. As far as grammar is concerned, though, I believe there is a chance for improvement. In my eyes, the progress was quite slow, for each day it was provided one particular grammar (e.g. Konjuktiv II) followed by a lot of exercises. I get it that training makes perfect, but I would welcome the possibility to do less exercises on lessons and having optional homework instead. Nevertheless, even with this method, I learnt a lot new in just 2 weeks. Another issue that we were facing that omits the language school regards to accommodation. Firstly, I was told that I am about to be in a shared room with one person. Instead, we had an apartment for 6 people w/ 3 rooms for 2 people. Yet, the kitchen and bathroom were shared. Especially, in the morning it happened to be a problem. Moreover, I was fortunate that I was accommodated in Haus 5, yet the students accommodated in Haus 2 weren´t given kitchens with I find unfair. All in all, despite the given drawbacks most of the things were awesome and I really do recommend Actilingua Academy. Bis bald.

They were happy that they had the possibility to get to know Vienna and its culture while learning German with very friendly and highly qualified teachers. :)

Courses are not tailored on students needs or level. Book is followed. 1 level takes 4 weeks. + Location, quite central Private 1.1 course Some teachers are very good - you have to be lucky tho 1.30 hours per class is good enough. 15 min break in between each class. Provide paper copies of lessons, not forced to buy book. provide cultural events besides class in evenings and weekends (some free, some extra) - Do not assigned you to your correct level even if test result give correct level - most of the time assigned to groupe where there is free space. If you are not happy with your level and want to change you have to re do another test and even if you score the correct level they don’t change you in the middle of the week. Only care about your money. Same teacher for 4 weeks if you don’t change level. content of class so slow, one week for same topic in grammatik class groups overloaded. some teachers not all skills to be teachers, seems to be young ppl looking for summer job. *no air conditionning in buildings
P	Peter Pan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ they courses were okay, but nothing special. even though the groups are small, classes are very basic and did not bring along enough individual care. also the content is not suitable for beginners (very complicated words are being taught which you'd never use in daily life according to some native speakers) expected much more flexibility and customer oriented service from the administration. I guess, the demand is high and they do not really care much...not worth the money. find a WU-Buddy for free and learn German a 100 times faster
