Very interesting and also suitable for children thanks to the train. The exhibition includes Christmas decorations dating back to the tsars.

Speziell die Bahn, die durch das ganze Haus bis in den Dachboden fährt und verschiedene Weihnachtsszenen zeigt! Für Kinder und jung gebliebene Erwachsene. Auch das Museum ansich ist einen Besuch wert. Bei uns ist es Tradition in der Vorweihnachtszeit dorthin zu gehn und so in Weihnachtsstimmung zu kommen. Auch das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfbereit. Man muss nicht deutsch sprechen, denn es gibt nur wenig Beschreibungen, da die Ausstellungsstücke selbsterklärend sind. Im Shop kann man weihnachtliche Bücher und Dekoartikel kaufen und einen Glühwein/Punsch trinken. The Christmas Museum is simply a highlight every year! Especially the train that goes through the whole house to the attic and shows different Christmas scenes! For children and adults who are young at heart. The museum itself is also worth a visit. It's a tradition for us to go there in the run-up to Christmas and get into the Christmas spirit. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. You don't have to speak German because there are only a few descriptions as the exhibits are self-explanatory. In the shop you can buy Christmas books and decorative items and drink a mulled wine/punch.

Die Fahrt mit der Bahn kam bei allen sehr gut an - auch wenn sich manche schreckten beim bergauf fahren wenn sich der Sitz nach hinten kippt. Aber die Ausstellung selbst ist sehr schön und liebevoll gestaltet - werden bestimmt wieder mal vorbeikommen. Lässt sich auch toll mit einem Spaziergang durch Steyr bzw. zur Jägerskrippe verbinden, wobei diese heuer leicht nicht so schön war wie die letzten Jahre da der Wasserfall zu diesem Zeitpunkt eingetrocknet war. Had an excursion with the school. The train ride was very well received by everyone - even if some were afraid to drive uphill when the seat tilts backwards. But the exhibition itself is very beautiful and lovingly designed - will definitely come back again. Can also be combined with a walk through Steyr or to the Jägerskrippe, which this year was not as beautiful as the last few years since the waterfall had dried out at this time.

Die Fahrt dauert zwar nur ein paar Minuten ist aber aufgrund des steilen Gefälle auf- und abwärts echt spektakulär! Ansonsten sehr liebevoll gestaltet alles rund um Weihnachten aus den versch Epochen und Länder. The adventure train is a real experience for young and old! The ride only takes a few minutes but is really spectacular due to the steep gradient up and down! Otherwise very lovingly designed everything about Christmas from the various eras and countries.
