Restaurant Stranddomizil - Am Mühlwasser 6

Staff was very nice to us tourist's. Despite not being able to read anything we were treated with respect and enjoyed our meal.

Did have breakfast there. Nice to sit near the water. Everything okay.

Well we decided to have a family get together for dinner, soup never arrived. The food was cold and even though we told the waiter reaction was REALLY! We paid the bill and just walked out. The end I would have to convince myself to go there again. Sorry but the first impression was the last.

Nice place, the stuff is friendly and the food tasty. I ordered a turkey schnitzel. I recommend to order 1 portion for 2 people because the size is really big. I rated 4 stars only because it doesn’t have an english menu.

Here close to the Viennese Alte Donau river you can have a seat in the Stranddomizil right next to the Mühlwasser on the Eastside of Vienna. It's lovely here in this residential and recreational area of Vienna where you sit in the patio next to the water. Or you have a seat inside this nice restaurant. The meals are very delicious here! We had "Geröstete Eierschwammerl" (roasted chanterelle with steamed potatoes) but also a delicious "Forelle" (trout) as well as a "Beuschel" (lights) and a delicious Wiener Schnitzel with salad. The waiters are nice and the dishes are served swiftly. For desserts we had a traditional and yummy "Topfenstrudel mit Vanillesauce" (sweet cheese strudel with warm vanilla sauce) an all time favorite for many Austrians. From Vienna with Love! Excelent restaurant not soo far from Wien downtown, really amazing place to enjoy during hot summer days, food are great, Austrian food, very well made! Huge portions, 100% recomended
