★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was cozy, well organized and the bartender was friendly. The people cool and I liked the music they put on, swing first, then downtempo and other uplifting genres. If everytime they rock this much I'd turn back in Linz just for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice low lighting in the interior; ceiling like a cellar bar. Hofberg is a sloping cobbled street in the atmospheric Altstadt area of Linz. Friendly staff e.g. a Georgian girl behind the counter. Happy hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great at the beginning, but it turns out live Musik is always the same people with the same songs every week. Adding TVs everywhere really didn't help the atmosphere and now feels like a sports betting place.
Update: The new barman is finally friendly and component, bringing the rating up to 4 for me

Also hosts live music and pub quizes.
Normal prices for linz and a nice atmosphere.
Its possible to ask for a song if you like.
