★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gott sei Dank gibt es noch solche Läden in Linz. Dieser Ort, mitten in der modernen Linzer City erinnert mich immer wieder an meine Kindheit und das hat schon was in dieser hektischen Welt.

Wollte heute Malen nach Zahlen mit einem bestimmten Motiv kaufen. Leider war das letzte Exemplar im Schaufenster ausgestellt. Die Verkäuferin die gelangweilt im Laden stand, fragte mich, ob es unbedingt das Motiv sein muss, sie hätte andere im Laden und müsste dazu nicht das Schaufenster aufsperren. Nachdem ich ihr gesagt habe, dass es das bestimmte Motiv sein muss, verzog sie angefressen ihr Gesicht und gab mir murmelnd zu verstehen, dass sie jetzt nicht gewillt ist ihr Stehkoma zu verlassen und das Fenster aufzumachen. Ich verließ unverichteter Dinge das Geschäft und es war auch das letzte Mal, dass ich dieses kundenunfreundliche Geschäft jemals wieder betreten werde. Wen man es nicht Not hat, etwas zu verkaufen, dann frage ich mich warum man dann irgend etwas anbietet. Vielleicht sollte die Fa. Zechl ihre Waren gut verpackt in den Keller stellen und den Schlüssel im Schloss zur ihrem Geschäft 2x umdrehen und den Laden dicht machen.

The saleswoman, who was bored in the shop, asked me whether it was absolutely necessary to have the motive, she had others in the shop and would not have to open the shop window. After I told her that it had to be the specific motive, she grimaced and gave me a murmur to understand that she is now unwilling to leave her standing coma and open the window. I left the shop with undeveloped things and it was also the last time that I would ever enter this customer-unfriendly shop again. If you don't need to sell something, I wonder why you offer something. Perhaps the Zechl company should put their goods well packaged in the basement and turn the key in the lock to their shop twice and close the shop.
