We thoroughly enjoyed the zoo and got to see the panda and quite a few unique species. Once we had not seen before. My only complaint would be the value of the entry versus other zoos in Europe that offer much better value for what you pay for a family. Also, the facilities within the zoo were quite limited. The butterfly conservatory was quite a nice part of to the zoo.

Amazing zoo. Really easy to find your way and see the animals. You follow the map and the trails on the floor and you will be fine. I think 3-4 hours should be enough.

One of the most impressive ZOO's in Europe. Very entertaining for the kids and adults as well. Recognized as the best Zoo in Europe 5 times between 2008 and 2018. It is the oldest existing zoo still in operation, that was established in 1752. 8,000 animals 700 different species The wide areas create a comfortable space for the animals and seems as they are very well attended. They have a focus on conservation and animal welfare as well which is highly respectable. Take around 4-5 hours to visit it all and paying attention to everything.

I don't like zoos much, but would definitely say that this one is the best I have ever been to. It's location in the huge park makes it very pleasant to walk. Animals have very big space and look like those who aren't taken care about. Would highly recommend visiting this place with your kids or family

Not too impressed. Sunday at noon is too crowded and it is hard to get to enjoy the full experience. It's big and there are a lot of animals to see. They have a nice itinerary for you to follow and not miss anything. Food is good, especially the traditional one

It's a wonderful place! Why do you need to visit this zoo? First of all, it is considered to be one of the best zoos and it's the oldest zoo in Europe. You can see there tigers, lions, elephants, giraffes, flamingo, monkeys, polar bears, penguins and lots of other animals. We spent the whole day for visiting the Schonbrunn zoo as it has a large territory and you want to see everything!!!

One of the biggest zoos I have ever been to,, We were in hurry when we visited, and thought we can spend like two hours there, but it was like we saw nothing!! When you plan your visit, you must have at least like four hours to really walk around and enjoy this amazing zoo,, We had the opportunity to see them feeding the monkeys, and it was great, they don’t just put the food there, they put it in some box in the rocks, and let the monkeys have the feeling of working for food,, We had good time, and wished that we had more to spend there,,

It's amazing looking at all the animals in a clean and well preserved natural environment, each place is unique and interesting. You can tell how everything has been meticulously designed to accommodate perfectly each one. It's not too tiring to view it all, but it has a lot so come early if you want to go through the whole thing.
