We had lunch at this restaurant and enjoyed the food. The dishes are traditional and prepared to a high standard with quality ingredients. However, the whole experience was diminished by the very arrogant service we experienced. One of our friends ordered a Campari Prosecco (Camapri Spritz) as Aperitif. The waiter was unfamiliar with this drink and reacted in a somewhat dismissive way as if this choice was a faux pas. Whilst the reaction of the waiter was unprofessional, this was not what left the really bad aftertaste. Upon paying and tipping 10% (standard custom in Austria and Germany), the waiter literally smacked the card on the table and did not express any gratitude, let alone built up any eye contact. In fact, during the payment process the waiter loudly asked us again for the total. All other guests heard this. Very unprofessional... Even if unhappy about the “standard tip”, the reaction was utterly unacceptable. In total we paid 70€ per person for lunch without alcohol (except for that one aperitif) for only 2 dishes. As international traveler having experienced many top restaurants, one cannot only expect good food, but also exceptional service for lunch at this price. Unfortunately, this restaurant fell very short on the service. The gentleman serving us, as far as we could tell, the head waiter, needs to work on his attitude. A real disgrace to an otherwise enjoyable experience!

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. The food is delicious and the service very good. The atmosphere is comfortable. I kept looking out the window - I really need to come back in summer and enjoy the garden. It is pricey but the quality of the ingredients and the perfect preparation is worth the money. Also with coming here you support a family owned business. I’ll start saving right now to come back here.
