★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is located in a romantic area, within the mountains of the Dolomites. This plateau lays under the "observation" of the rock "Rauchkofel" and has only enough space for the hotel and a wonderful lake. The "Tristacher See" is in winter cold enough for skating and in summer warm enough for swimming. The lake is a wonder itself.
The hotel has an own water-spring out of the "Rauchkofel" and offers best wine and food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, wow, wow! Sad to say, we were only dinner guests and not residents. The restaurant was recommended by the owners of the accommodation we were staying at and it couldn't have been better.
The menu is broken down into local dishes (including fish from their own ponds), Austrian and International. The wine list is perfectly balanced, to provide the perfect accompaniment to any dish.
The dishes are delivered literally 'picture perfect' and the waiter was knowledgeable and extremely helpful and professional. Although 'nouveau' in style, the plates are wholesome and hearty.
The property is clearly family owned and run and from the welcome to final farewell, we cannot fault this place.
If we could award 10 stars we would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm delighted that we have selected this lovely hotel.We received a very warm welcome. It is an amazingly beautiful place with a very clear lake surrounding the hotel. A wonderful place to relax & enjoy the wonderful nature wherever you look. Hot covered warm swiming-pool & sauna. Excellent service. Excellent food, beverages. We have enjoyed hiking & I think skiing will be nice at the winter. The owners, Joseph & Christl, made us feel at home. They were always present all the time, from early breakfast to late dinner. They salute every one at each table & ask if you need anything. On behalf of my family, I'll recommend it to all my friends. I'm sure that I'll visit Parkhotel Tristacherless again; most probably next Christmas with all my family. As we live in Cairo (Egypt), I'm sure that we'll enjoy the snow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the Tristachersee, we stopped for a late lunch and could not have been more delighted with our find! Family owned and operated, the hotel restaurant is beautifully situated on the water with floor to ceiling windows that fold back to the open air. Our server, Milan was charming. Excellent Tirolean food. The Schlipfkrapfen (one of THE local specialities) were so tasty! The restaurant is formal so though we were in jeans for lunch, I think you’d need to be less casual for dinner. It’s a lovely old school establishment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible views!!! Very peaceful and calm, there are fish pools as well where you can watch them from the small bridges. A very good place to rest especially for adults who want to disappear in nature and be far from crowdy locations.
