E	Eva-Maria Egartner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ganz tolle Skischule! Sind schon jahrelang Gäste am Katschberg. Kennen auch andere Skischule vor Ort. Heuer erstmals Otto ausprobiert und waren schwer begeistert. Ganz tolles Team und coole Lehrer! Haben 2 Kinder ( 6 u 8 Jahre). Waren bei Nikolai und Jan in d Gruppe ?... Hatten zusätzlich noch Hotel - Skischultransfer gebucht! War immer pünktlich vor Ort ? auch im Schneechaos ? Mittagessen plus Betreuung wird auch angeboten! Haben wir an ein paar Tagen auch dazugebucht! Auch hier gibt's nichts zu bemängeln! Wir können diese Skischule wirklich WEITEREMPFEHLEN! Great ski school! Have been guests at Katschberg for years. Know other ski schools on site. Tried Otto for the first time this year and were very enthusiastic. Great team and cool teachers! Have 2 children (6 and 8 years). Stayed with Nikolai and Jan in the group ? ... Had also booked a hotel - ski school transfer! Was always on time ? also in the snow chaos ? Lunch plus supervision is also offered! We also booked in a few days! There is nothing to complain about here either! We can really RECOMMEND this ski school!
S	Silke Schwarz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gruppenzusammenstellung ziemlich willkührlich vom Können her bunt gemischt und in viel zu großen Gruppen mit 17 Kindern! Da bringt ein Kurs nicht wirklich was. Auch auf mehrfache Nachfrage und Versicherung, dass der Kurs noch geteilt wird, ist nichts passiert. Die Kinder sind dem Lehrer einfach hinterher gefahren, ohne dass es großartige Erklärungen gab, ein Lernerfolg war nicht wirklich gegeben. Bei einem Unfall war einer der jüngeren Lehrer sichtlich überfordert, man musste ihm sogar überhaupt erst sagen, dass er den Notruf setzt und geholfen hat er überhaupt nicht, sondern nur daneben gestanden. Hier stellt sich die Frage, ob die ganzen Aushilfskräfte (großteils nicht einheimisch) überhaupt zertifizierte Skilehrer sind. Von der Skischule kann nur abgeraten werden, das waren im Vergleich mit den anderen Skischulen die durchweg größten Gruppen. Group composition quite arbitrarily mixed of skill and in much too large groups with 17 children! A course doesn't really work. Even after multiple requests and insurance that the course will still be shared, nothing has happened. The children just drove after the teacher without great explanations, there was no real learning success. In the event of an accident, one of the younger teachers was visibly overwhelmed. You even had to tell him that he made the emergency call and that he didn't help at all, but just stood there. Here the question arises as to whether the entire temporary staff (mostly not native) are certified ski instructors at all. The ski school can only be discouraged, compared to the other ski schools these were consistently the largest groups.
C	Catharina Busch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr chaotische Organisation. In meiner Gruppe wurden 5 jährige Kinder mit erwachsenen zusammen unterrichtet. Hierdurch war die Gruppe von Beginn an viel zu unterschiedlich und es war kein wirklicher Lernfortschritt erkennbar. Der Lehrer könnte weder Deutsch noch Englisch, wodurch eine Verständigung unmöglich war. Der Kurs bestand darin dem "Lehrer" hinterher zu fahren. Auf Fragen der Teilnehmer wurde nicht eingegangen. Erklärt wurde nichts. Das finde ich vor allem für einen Anfängerkurs nicht akzeptabel. Nachdem ich mich bei dem Chef der Skischule beschwert hatte wurde ich sehr unfreundlich angegangen und mir wurde nur gesagt, dass ich völlig unrealistische Ansprüche habe. Ich habe dem Skischulleiter angeboten, sich doch mal den Kurs anzuschauen. Darauf kam nur die Antwort" Das müsse er nicht, er weiß schon jetzt dass ich vollkommen übertreibe." Da für mich unter den oben genannten Umständen ein Kurs keinen Sinn gemacht hat habe ich nach zwei Tagen den Kurs storniert. Jedoch habe ich (trotz vorheriger Zusage mit drei anwesenden Zeugen) nur einen Bruchteil des gezahlten Geldes wiederbekommen (90 Euro wurden einfach grundlos einbehalten). Nach meinen Erfahrungen kann ich also nur von dieser Skischule abraten. Vollkommen überteuerte Preise, chaotische Kurse ohne jeglichen Lerneffekt und keine Kritikfähigkeit von Seiten der Skischulleitung. Very messy organization. In my group, 5 year old children were taught together with adults. As a result, the group was too different from the start and there was no real learning progress. The teacher knew neither German nor English, which made communication impossible. The course consisted of following the "teacher". Questions from the participants were not answered. Nothing was explained. I find this particularly unacceptable for a beginner course. After complaining to the head of the ski school, I was approached very unfriendly and was only told that I had completely unrealistic claims. I offered the head of the ski school to take a look at the course. The only answer was "He doesn't have to, he already knows that I'm completely exaggerating." Since a course made no sense to me under the above circumstances, I canceled the course after two days. However, I got back only a fraction of the money paid (despite previous acceptance with three witnesses present) (90 euros were simply withheld for no reason). In my experience, I can only advise against this ski school. Completely overpriced prices, chaotic courses without any learning effect and no criticism from the ski school management.

Check-In verlief reibungslos und sehr freundlich und die Lehrer aller drei Kinder waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder! Thank you for the great New Year's Eve 2019/20 ski course! Our three kids had a lot of fun and made progress. Check-in went smoothly and very friendly and the teachers of all three children were very attentive and friendly. We will be back!
T	Thomas Menke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hallo zusammen, wir waren mit unserem Sohn (7 Jahre) über die Faschingsferien am Katschberg. Unser Sohn war 6 Tage im Skikurs bei Otto´s Skischule. Wir waren vollauf zufrieden, dies ist definitiv die beste Skischule am Berg! Gruppengröße max 6 Schüler (Trotz großem Andrang in den Ferien). Andere Skischulen haben wir auf der Piste mit bis zu 12 Kindern gesehen! Super nette Skilehrer. Vorab wird sich ordentlich aufgewärmt und eine leichte Piste zum Einfahren genommen, erst dann geht es auf die schwereren Pisten. Unser Sohn hat gute Fortschritte gemacht, aber was viel wichtiger ist, er hatte richtig viel Spaß! Ich kann die Skischule vollauf empfehlen! Danke an das Team und an Alba die Skilehrerin! Hello, everyone, We were with our son (7 years) over the carnival holidays at Katschberg. Our son was 6 days in the ski course at Otto's ski school. We were completely satisfied, this is definitely the best ski school on the mountain! Group size max 6 students (despite large crowds during the holidays). We have seen other ski schools on the slopes with up to 12 children! Super nice ski instructors. Beforehand, you warm up properly and take an easy slope to warm up, only then do you move on to the more difficult slopes. Our son made good progress, but more importantly, he really enjoyed himself! I can fully recommend the ski school! Thanks to the team and to Alba the ski instructor!

Außerdem haben wir dort 2 Snowboards und 1 Paar Skier gekauft zu einem super Preis! In unseren Augen der beste Ansprechpartner rund um den Skisport auf dem Katschberg. Jederzeit wieder! The staffs were super nice and caring to find the most suitable ski set for me. when my first boots were quite big, they gave me a different pair next day so I was able to enjoy skiing better. And they didn’t mind providing their service in English which made me feel more comfortable!
