A	Astrid Schöndorfer, BA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unseriös! Ich musste am 24.1.22 meinen Skiurlaub abbrechen aufgrund eines schweren Unfalls -der Schaden wurde sofort gemeldet! Nachdem ich dann operiert werden musste konnte ich zeitnah am 18.2.22 ALLE Unterlagen nachreichen. Nachdem ich am 22.3.22 noch immer keine Rückmeldung seitens der Versicherung erhielt ( außer der obligatorischen automatisierten Eingangsbestätigung) nahm ich telefonisch Kontakt auf- bei diesem Anruf wurde mir bestätigt das meine Unterlagen vollständig sind, und der Akt spätestens Anfang April 22 abgeschlossen ist und das Geld überwiesen wird. Nun habe ich am 6.4.22 per Email nachgefragt wie der Status nun sei, da man mir telefonisch zugesichert hatte das bis dahin (Anfang April) alles erledigt wäre. Bis dato keinerlei Rückmeldung auf mein Email. Nun wird einfach mein Anwalt die Causa fortführen- jedenfalls ist es unerhört das die Versicherung weder reagiert, noch zeitnah den Fall abschließt- die Prämie jedoch sehr wohl einkassiert!! Unseriös! Untrustworthy! I had to cancel my skiing holiday on January 24th, 2022 due to a serious accident - the damage was reported immediately! After I then had to be operated on, I was able to submit ALL the documents promptly on February 18th, 2022. After I still hadn't received any feedback from the insurance company on March 22nd, 2022 (apart from the obligatory automated confirmation of receipt), I made contact by phone - with this call I was confirmed that my documents are complete and that the file will be completed by the beginning of April 22 at the latest and that money is transferred. Now, on April 6th, 2022, I asked by email what the status was, since I had been assured by telephone that everything would be settled by then (beginning of April). So far no response to my email. Now my lawyer will simply continue the cause - in any case, it is outrageous that the insurance company neither reacts nor closes the case promptly - but collects the premium very well!! Untrustworthy!
R	Renate Reisch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da ich viel reise, habe ich seit 10 Jahren den Jahreskomplett- Schutz der Europäischen Reiseversicherung und schon einige Male in Anspruch nehmen müssen - Todesfall in der Familie vor Reiseantritt, Erkrankungen vor Reiseantritten, Erkrankungen im Urlaubsland. NIE gab es irgendein Problem mit der Versicherung, alles wurde stets in vollem Umfang rückerstattet, obwohl ich die meisten Reisen über das Internet buche. Ich kann diesen Ganzjahresschutz für alle, die viel reisen, nur wärmstens empfehlen. Bei mir hat er sich jedenfalls voll gerechnet. Since I travel a lot, I have had the full annual cover from Europäische Reiseversicherung for 10 years and have had to claim it a few times - death in the family before the start of the trip, illnesses before the start of the trip, illnesses in the holiday destination. There has NEVER been any problem with the insurance, everything has always been fully reimbursed even though I book most trips online. I would highly recommend this year-round protection for anyone who travels a lot. In any case, it fully paid off for me.

I´ve had negative experience with their customer service (long answering times, incompetent employees, unprofessional and inconsistent communication). Not worth using them as they use any little excuse to not compensate for travel complications. Makes you wonder why you should get a travel insurance in the first place. Truly a rip off.

I had a medical emergency in South Korea and although I've submitted all the documents, the company demands bills from the hospital in German / English / French or Spanish! I had hard time just to communicate my illness at the hospital, and now should I go back and ask them to give receipts in French? Update: After several phone calls and emails, I have got the expenses reimbursed. Changing 2 stars instead of 1, after the realization that it is not impossible, but just really frustrating. The customer service is jsut made things a bit more harder.
