H	Helmuth Mayrhofer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Etwas schwer und nur mit dem nötigen Spürsinn sind die noch vorhanden Reste der einstigen Burg im dichten Wald und umgeben von Felsformationen aufzufinden Auf einer Bergkuppe zwischen dem Käfermühl- und Rechbergerbach, umgeben von dichtem Buchenwald befindet sich diese bereits stark verfallene Burgruine, von welcher lediglich die mächtigen Mauern des Bergfrieds an jene Zeiten erinnern als die Burg noch bewohnt war. Die genaue Entstehungszeit der Burg Saxenegg ist nicht bekannt. Erstmals urkundlich erwähnt wurde sie 1297. Die Burg wurde aber bereits um 1438 aufgegeben und dem Verfall überlassen. Aber von der Burg selbst ist eben nicht mehr viel übrig There is only a wall of the keep. The journey is rather difficult. Beautiful beech forest with imposing rocks. But there is not much left of the castle itself
